Our team

Dr Stephanie Wakeling is a medical oncologist practicing in Melbourne and regional Victoria. She completed her medical oncology training across several centres, including the Austin Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and multiple regional hospitals.

For the past two years, Dr Wakeling has worked as a Medical Oncology Trials Fellow at Austin Hospital, where she has worked as a sub-investigator on a large portfolio of phase 1–3 clinical trials spanning thoracic, melanoma, genitourinary, and neuro-oncology cancers.

Dr Wakeling is passionate about ensuring all patients have the opportunity to access genomically matched therapies where possible. She is particularly motivated to collaborate with clinicians across Australia to expand research opportunities and improve outcomes for patients with rare cancers.
