Dr Chloe Georgiou MBBS, BMedSc, MCncrSc, FRACP

Senior Research Fellow, Australian Rare Cancer Portal


Dr Chloe Georgiou is a medical oncologist based in regional Victoria with a sub-specialty interest in rare, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. She completed her medical degree through the University of Melbourne in 2013, including an advanced medical science year at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2011. Her FRACP in medical oncology was awarded in 2022, and she completed a Master of Cancer Sciences in 2023. She was the inaugural clinical trials fellow at Bendigo Health, and now acts as a principal investigator at the site in addition to clinical oncology work. She is a co-chair (access and awareness) of the Victorian Rare Cancer Clinical Trials Alliance

Growing up and now living and working in regional Victoria, Chloe has a particular interest in health services design which facilitates equitable access to care. As a previous research fellow at the ARC Portal 2021-2023, she is honoured to return to a team dedicated to improved sharing of knowledge to facilitate care close to home.
