Dr Arabella Widders is a Medical Oncology Advanced Trainee based in Queensland. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and has since worked in multiple hospitals from Cairns to Brisbane. Areas of clinical interest include lung, skin and genitourinary cancers and she is currently completing research into real world outcomes for people with small cell lung cancer. During the COVID pandemic she wrote a discussion paper which has been cited by researchers worldwide and retains an interest in translating scientific evidence into clinically relevant material.
Arabella was thrilled to be offered a position with the ARC portal to help improve access to care for rare cancer patients across Australia and looks forward to collaborating with healthcare professionals across the country.
