Senate Inquiry Responses

The responses to the Senate Inquiry into equitable access to diagnosis and treatment for individuals with rare and less common cancers are now available to read on the Parliament of Australia website.

Thirty-six responses were received in total including responses from national organisations such as Rare Cancers Australia, the National Health and Medical Research Council, the Department of Health and Aged Care, the National Rural Health Alliance, Medicines Australia, Ovarian Cancer Australia, and a group submission by the Cancer Council Australia, the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia, the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia, Private Cancer Physicians of Australia, the Medical Oncology Group of Australia and the Lung Foundation Australia.

State based responses were also received from a number of organisations including the Tasmanian Government, Queensland Health, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and WA Health.
